These Terms describe how you may use hume-band.uk and the Hume Health app (together, the "Services"), run by Hume Health Corp ("we", "us", "our"). By placing an order, creating an account, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to what's set out below.

1. Who May Use the Site

You must be 18 or older to place an order at hume-band.uk or open a Hume Health account. The Services are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly gather information from anyone under 13.

2. How Orders Work

Placing an order is your offer to buy a Hume Band 2.0 (plus any extras, such as the extended warranty) at the listed price, VAT included. We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order — for example, where fraud is suspected, a price has been mis-listed, or stock has run out — and you'll receive a complete refund if that happens.

Prices appear in GBP unless stated otherwise and are subject to change without notice, though changes won't touch an order you've already placed.

3. Your Statutory Rights

Nothing here reduces your statutory consumer rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, which include a 14-day cancellation window from delivery. Our own return terms go well beyond that baseline — see our Refund & Returns page, which is incorporated into these Terms.

4. Not a Medical Device

The Hume Band 2.0 is a consumer wellness product designed to help you spot patterns in your own health and habits. It is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any illness. Figures such as biological age, metabolic momentum and illness-risk indicators are wellness estimates produced from sensor data and internal algorithms — they don't replace advice from a GP or another qualified healthcare professional.

Get medical help for anything urgent regardless of what the app shows, and don't base medical decisions solely on Hume Band readings.

5. Protecting Your Account

You're responsible for activity under your Hume Health account, so keep your login credentials confidential. Notify us straight away if you suspect unauthorised access.

6. Prohibited Conduct

Don't reverse-engineer or tamper with the hardware or software in ways that break applicable law, use the Services to infringe someone else's rights, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to our systems.

7. Brand and Content Ownership

"Hume Band", "Hume Health" and related marks are owned by Hume Health Corp. The device design, the app, and everything published on this site are protected by copyright and related rights; reproducing them without permission is not allowed.

8. Warranty and Liability

Aside from the specific warranty described in our Refund & Returns policy and your statutory rights, the Services are supplied as-is, to the extent the law permits. Hume Health Corp is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the product or Services, again to whatever extent the law allows this limit.

9. Amendments to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time; the "Last revised" date at the top will reflect any change. Continuing to use the Services after a revision means the updated version applies to you.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections applicable where you live.
